Kingston, Jamaica is the city that is filled with life and entertainment. In late 2020, a new hot spot opened up on one of its most traversed roads, Hope Road,; a wine bar called Trio. The panorama (pandemic) has everyone changing the way fun is done with friends, and nothing is more exciting a new spot with friends to drink and chit chat.
The first thing to note is the staff is very welcoming, and it has a very nice open outdoor setting (with shade of course). Your order is most definitely taken in a timely fashion as well! Good going, Trio! With any new establishment though, there's always things you appreciate and usually a few (sometimes tiny) disappointments.
What they have for sure? An extensive wine menu! Thank you for the many options! Going to a wine bar, you look to try something new (
that's not a glass of wine). Wine cocktails are superior and not popular at many spots in Kingston, and they could take advantage of that.. being a wine bar. Another bit of disappointment was the food (womp). There's no doubt you'd receive your meal in good time, but how pleased you will be is up for debate and how peculiar your palate is.
All in all, Trio is a cute spot! Great location, great setting, great staff! Being new in the current climate can be difficult as a new business, and with time, we hope to see Trio Wine Bar being booked and busy!
